Supporting Our Work

The University of Minnesota recognized the value of human-animal interactions and provided initial funding and support to establish CENSHARE in 1981. Since then, the work of CENSHARE has been supported by:

generous individual donors who believe in promoting the human-animal bond
royalties from inventions related to improving relationships between people and their pets
grants from research projects to study the impact of human-animal relationships on our society

grants from foundations

Co-founders Ruth Foster and RK Anderson
CENSHARE Co-Founders

We welcome and need your tax-deductible donations to sponsor CENSHARE activities which promote education, research, and public service for the benefit of helping people and animals and improving health, welfare, and quality of life.

You may wish to make your donation in memory of a beloved pet or cherished person in your life. All donations are acknowledged and appreciated.
